Dr. Avani Amin founded Blackstone Eye Center with a desire to integrate vision, beauty and wellness to help achieve her patient’s overall needs. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health and her Masters in Allied Health Science at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Amin obtained her Doctorate at the New England College of Optometry where she earned highest clinical honors. She completed her training at various hospitals, private practices and community health center settings, including the number one eye hospital in the nation, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

Dr. Courtney Allen is a compassionate optometrist dedicated to providing exceptional eye care for patients of all ages. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the SUNY College of Optometry, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive eye care. Following graduation, Dr. Allen completed an advanced residency in Primary Care, Pediatrics, and Binocular Vision at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. This specialized training enhanced her expertise in pediatric eye care, vision therapy, and the diagnosis and management of complex binocular vision disorders, in addition to full-scope primary eye care.
